Mileage Tracking

Keep a detailed record of every mile driven for your business. For mobile professionals who spend their day traveling between jobs, accurate mileage tracking can simplify bookkeeping, support tax deductions, and provide valuable insight into daily operations.

Logging Mileage

To add a mileage entry:

1. Tap the blue plus icon in the bottom navigation menu.

2. Select Trip.

3. The entry will automatically be assigned to you, the currently logged-in user. You can optionally assign a team.

4. Select the trip start date and time and add any relevant notes.

5. Enter your trip details — either a single origin-to-destination entry or multiple stops chained together to form a complete route.

Note: Chaining multiple stops into a single entry makes it easy to capture your entire day's travel in one go, giving you a complete picture without the hassle of logging each leg separately.

Viewing Logged Mileage

To view your logged mileage:

1. Navigate to the Business tab from the bottom navigation menu.

2. Scroll down to the Mileage Log section.

From here you can review all of your recorded trips and create new entries directly.

Automated Mileage Tracking

Available on the Detailer Exclusive subscription tier.

For detailers who would rather focus on their work than manually logging every trip, Automated Mileage Tracking handles it for you.

How it works:

  • At the end of each day, an automation runs based on the jobs you completed that day.

  • It builds a route starting from your primary business address, traveling to each job location in the order they were completed, and returning to your business address at the end.

  • Each leg of the route is logged as an individual trip, giving you a fully chained mileage record without lifting a finger.

This means less time on administrative tasks and more time growing your business — mileage entries are created automatically so nothing slips through the cracks.

Important: Mileage calculations are based on optimized routing data rather than live device location tracking. As a result, logged distances may differ slightly from the actual route taken. While not always 100% precise, automated tracking provides a strong, well-informed estimate of your true daily mileage.
