Efficiently organizing your workforce is key to scaling your business. Detailermade makes it easy to add employees, build teams, and assign the right people to the right jobs.
Adding Employees
You can add employees at no extra cost. To add a new employee:
Navigate to the Employees page.
Tap the plus icon.
Enter the employee's details
Once added, the employee will receive an email with a password reset link. After setting their password, they can log in and begin using the platform immediately.
Teams
Teams are the primary unit assigned to jobs. Organizing employees into teams gives you flexibility in how work is distributed and tracked.
To create a team:
Navigate to the Teams page.
Tap Create Team.
Give the team a name.
Select the employees you want on that team
Team Structure Tips
Scenario | Approach |
Assign a single employee to jobs | Create a single-member team for that individual. |
Group employees by skill or service | Create specialized teams (e.g., "Window Tinting Team") and assign them to relevant jobs. |
Flexible coverage | Assign employees to multiple teams so they can support different types of work as needed. |
Building teams around specific services — such as paint correction, interior detailing, or ceramic coating — ensures the right people are always matched to the right jobs, improving quality and client satisfaction
Team Insights
Track team performance from the Insights page under the Employees and Teams tab. Here you can view data such as jobs completed by team, helping you identify trends, measure productivity, and make informed decisions as your business grows
Understanding how each team contributes to your overall workload gives you the clarity needed to optimize scheduling, balance resources, and scale with confidence
