Job Reminders & Notifications
Automated notifications keep your clients informed at every stage of a job — from booking confirmation to payment receipt — without requiring manual follow-up. This creates a seamless, professional experience that builds trust and reduces no-shows.
Accessing Notification Settings
1. Tap the Business tab in the bottom navigation menu.
2. Tap Profile in the top-left corner.
3. Scroll through the tabs until you reach Notifications and Communications.
Here you can view and configure all automated SMS messages sent to your customers.
Message Categories
Job Status
Message | When It's Sent |
Booking Confirmation | When a client's booking is confirmed |
En Route | When you tap the On Route button for a job |
Job Started | When you start a job |
Cancellation | When a job is cancelled |
Completion | When a job is marked as complete |

Toggling Notifications
Each message type can be individually toggled on or off, giving you full control over which notifications your clients receive. Only enable the messages that make sense for your workflow — there's no need to send every notification if it doesn't fit how you operate.
The 24-hour job reminder is especially valuable for reducing missed appointments. A simple, timely reminder helps clients remember their booking and gives them a chance to reach out if anything has changed.
Customizing Messages
Tap Edit Message on any notification to tailor the wording to your business voice and style. Each message supports a set of dynamic variables that automatically populate with real data, such as:
Business NameCustomer NameDate and Time
Depending on the message type, some variables are required while others are optional. An estimated message length is displayed as you edit to help you stay concise. You can update your messages at any time or reset them to the default wording.
Note: The ability to customize message text is available depending on your subscription tier and is not available on the Detailer Essential tier. Upgrading unlocks full control over your client communications, allowing you to craft messages that reflect your brand's personality and professionalism.
