Book Your First Job

Creating jobs manually in the app gives you complete control over scheduling, even outside your normal booking hours and restrictions.

Step 1: Select a Client

Search for Existing Client:

  • Tap the client dropdown to search

  • Type to filter by name or phone number

  • Select from your existing clients

Step 2: Add Service Items

Each job can include multiple services for one or more vehicles.

Service Item Setup:

  1. Select Category - Choose service type (e.g., "Exterior Detail")

  2. Select Service - Pick the specific service from the dropdown

    • Shows service name and base price

    • Multiple tiers available (Premium, Standard, Basic)

  3. Select Vehicle - Choose which client vehicle this service is for

    • Tap "Add Vehicle" if they need to add a new one

  4. Add-ons - Select any optional add-on services

  5. Additional Fees - Apply fees like third row upcharge if needed

Multiple Services:

  • Tap the + icon to add more job items

  • Perfect for multiple vehicles or combined services

  • Each service item can have different vehicles and add-ons

Step 3: Set Date & Time

After adding service items, tap "Set Date & Time" to schedule the job.

Scheduling Flexibility:

  • Choose any date and time

  • Not restricted to business hours

  • Can override buffer times and concurrent job limits

  • Perfect for special appointments or loyal customers

Step 4: Finalize Job Details

Review and complete the job setup:

  • Verify client, services, and pricing

  • Assign teams

  • Add internal notes

  • Set job status (Booked, Completed, etc.)

Tap "Finalize Job Details" to create the job.

What Happens Next:

  • Job appears on your calendar

  • Client receives confirmation (if notifications are enabled)

  • Assigned teams can see the job on their dashboard

  • You can send an invoice when ready

Understanding Service Pricing & Vehicle Selection

After selecting your service, you'll see pricing details and assign the service to a vehicle.

Service Pricing Display

Base Price:

  • Standard price shown for the service (e.g., $220)

  • Used when no vehicle-specific pricing exists

Vehicle-Specific Pricing:

  • Custom prices for different vehicle types automatically display

  • Examples: Sedan ($160), Coupe ($140), SUV ($260), Van ($280)

  • System applies the correct price when you select a vehicle

Selecting a Vehicle

Choose from Existing Vehicles:

  • Tap the vehicle dropdown to see the client's vehicles

  • Each shows the model and type (e.g., "Artega GT (Coupe)")

  • Select the vehicle for this service

Add New Vehicle:

  • Tap "Add Vehicle" if the client needs to add one

  • Required field - you'll see a validation message if skipped

Automatic Price Updates

When you select a vehicle, the price updates instantly:

  • Selected vehicle appears in a highlighted badge with the specific price

  • "Vehicle-specific pricing" label confirms custom pricing is applied

  • If no custom pricing exists, base price is used automatically

Add-ons & Additional Fees

Complete your service setup:

  • Add-ons - Select optional services like Headlight Restoration ($120) or Spray Sealant ($40)

  • Additional Fees - Toggle fees like Third Row Fee ($45) for applicable vehicles

Key Benefits:

  • Accurate pricing for each vehicle type

  • No manual calculations needed

  • Professional, transparent quotes

Pro Tip: Set up vehicle-specific pricing in your service settings to automatically charge appropriate rates based on vehicle size.

Scheduling Your Job

After adding service items, it's time to schedule the job. You have two flexible scheduling options to fit your workflow.

Scheduling Options

Toggle between two modes:

Manual Scheduling:

  • Pick any specific date and time

  • Not restricted by business hours or availability

  • Perfect for special appointments or booking outside normal hours

Available Slots:

  • View open time slots based on your availability

  • Calendar shows available days with blue dots

  • System considers your business hours, existing jobs, and buffer times

  • Quick way to find optimal booking times

Manual Scheduling

Select Date:

  • Choose any date from the calendar

  • Current selection displays clearly (e.g., "Saturday, Nov 8, 2025")

Select Time:

  • Set Start Time and End Time

  • Duration automatically calculated and displayed

  • Override any time restrictions when needed

Available Slots Scheduling

Browse Calendar:

  • Navigate months using arrow buttons

  • Days with availability show blue indicator dots

  • Select a date to see available time slots

Choose Time Slot:

  • View all available slots for the selected day

  • Times shown in 15-minute increments (e.g., 08:00 am, 08:15 am, 08:30 am)

  • Tap a slot to select it

  • Slots reflect your booking rules and existing schedule

Team Assignment

Assign Teams (Optional):

  • Select teams to work on this job

  • Dropdown shows all available teams

  • Jobs appear on assigned team dashboards

  • Leave unassigned if not needed

Service Location

Address Selection:

  • Choose from existing client addresses in the dropdown

  • Or tap "Add Address" to create a new location

  • Address field is optional but recommended for mobile services

Additional Notes

Internal Notes:

  • Add any special instructions or reminders

  • Notes are internal-only (not visible to clients)

  • Perfect for tracking special requests or job details

Finalize & Create

Once all details are set:

  • Review your job configuration

  • Tap "Create Job" to finalize

  • Job appears on your calendar immediately

  • Client receives confirmation if notifications are enabled
