Your clients are the heart of your business. DetailerMade keeps every client's details, vehicles, addresses, and history in one place — so booking a job, sending an estimate, or following up is always a few taps away.
How Clients Get Added
There are two ways a client ends up in your account:
Automatically — when someone books a job or requests an estimate through your booking site, a client profile is created for them on the spot.
Manually — you can add a client yourself anytime, whether they called you, found you in person, or you're moving existing clients over.
To add a client manually:
Navigate to the Clients page.
Tap the plus icon.
Enter their details and save.
What's on a Client Profile
Each client profile keeps everything you need about that person in one place:
Section | What it holds |
Details | Name, phone number, email, and whether they're a person or a business. |
Vehicles | Every vehicle you've recorded for them — make, model, and type. Used to apply the right pricing when you book. |
Addresses | Saved service locations, perfect for mobile jobs so you're not re-typing an address each visit. |
History | Jobs, estimates, and subscriptions tied to the client. |
A client can have as many vehicles and addresses as you need — add them as they come up, and they'll be ready to pick from the next time you book.
Using Clients Across Your Business
Once a client is in your account, they connect to everything else:
Booking a job — search for the client, pick their vehicle, and the right price applies automatically. Learn more about jobs.
Estimates — create an estimate for an existing client without re-entering their info. Learn more about estimates.
Messaging — text clients directly from the app, with the whole conversation kept on their profile (available on higher plans).
Clients vs. Leads
A lead is someone who's shown interest but hasn't become a client yet. A client is someone you're actively doing business with. When a lead is ready, you can convert them into a client and keep all their information.
Why Clients Sign In
When a client books with you, their profile is tied to their phone number. That lets them sign in to your booking site to view their job history and rebook quickly using their saved vehicles and addresses — which means less back-and-forth for you and a smoother experience for them.
Pro Tip: Keep vehicles and addresses up to date on each profile. The more complete the profile, the faster every future booking goes.
